Hello,
this is my firs post here.
We have a small studio in Spain. We produce there music in diferent styles (rock, jazz, hip-hop...). We use it to rehearsals too. Now we have a little control room (3,42x3,17m) and a recording room (6,20x3,13m). We have another room next to the recording room (6,79x2,87). We have the oportunity to use so we are thinking to move the control room to this new room, to have a bigger control room and the option of a second recording rooom to record band live (we sometimes do this). We have neighbours, but the 3 rooms are soundproofed acording to the local laws.
The only work to do is putting the window between the new control room and the recording room (we have just one between what actually is the control room (future 2nd recording rooom) and the 1st recording room, an obvlioulsy tre acoustic treatment.
Gear for recording:
Amek Big Concole (36 channes in line)
Mou HD192 interfaces
Event Tuned Reference 8 speakers
Bose HIFI speakers
Acoustic treatment available:
Auralex studiofoam absorvers x34 (60x60cm)
Auralex studiofoam absorvers x25 (30x30cm)
Auralex Metro LENRD Bass Traps x12 (60x60cm)
Home made difussers (similar to Vicoustic Multi fusor DC2) actually in the cealing x25 (60x60cm). MAde of polystyrene.
Doors are heavy metal for soundproofing, walls of gypsun board.
Height to registered roof and from this to roof:
New control room: 253+57
Studio 1: 253+30
Studio 2: 253 + 38 (cm)
What acoustic treatment and adaptations may we do with these limited conditions?
Thanks
Updating studio

did i read that right, the new room is only 1,87m wide? versus 3,17m in the existing on? i think you're getter off keeping the existing CR because the very narrow space is not a good option.
Sorry, it´s a mistake, I'm now at home, but the new room must be 2,87m wide.
not sure where your doors or windows are located. i don't have smart draw so if you could just post a jpg... pending that, maybe something like this would work?
