Computer screens closer than the speakers

With two computer screens and the reference monitors at about 5feet apart, the screens are going to be closer to you than the monitors are. I'm considering tilting the comp screens wayyyy down so the almost laying flat on their backs so they don't cause any dishonesty in the mix. If you're not soffit mounting your speakers, where are you placing your computer screen(s)? Mike
couple of tactics: 1) stack them vertically - this makes the horizontal spread the equivalent of a single monitor, 2) get a big high-resolution TV for the wall between them so you can see the monitor and its doesn't interfere (my general preference). lastly you could adjust the monitor positions until you achieve an acceptable level of visibility and of sound diffraction to which your ears can accommodate and therefore create proper mixes.
Yeah I'll need to figure that out.
