Basement studio advice please

so heres a Sketchup of my basement area which I wish to turn into a studio http://www.mediafire.com/?31urzad3a5tr9my this is only one side of the basement and is the only option to reno because the other side is laundry/ furnace space. I was either going to A. control and live room both in this space or B. Control room upstairs in spare 11x9x8 bedroom and all of basement live room with vocal booth With my space available what would be the best option be p.s. I was thinking of using Johns "small studio" design at the sticky at the top of the page thanks guys sincerely Shaun McLellan

Looks like enough space to do a one room build. I think I would rather have that then the complications that come from having a room upstairs.
