Sorry guys if this isn't the correct forum for this.
At work I have to prepare a container for an extremely large printing machine which will make A LOT of mechanical noise.I have two issues that I need help with
1. Reducing the noise to the outside environment as there is a daycare and residential apartments on the compound
2. Creating an area within the container for a person to operate the machine via computer without damaging their hearing.

You need to have established what is the weight of the machine and then have that isolated with rubber pads. Building a room to isolate a piece of noisy machinery...is forgetting where the noise is coming from, and that is the vibration the machine makes coupled to the structure it is in.
