Hi again, As we wrote in out first welcome post, making our own rehearsal/recording studio (primary)for our tradditional Serbian acoustic music band is something that we plan to do, and finally, we are now very close to do it. After finding and reading most of the posts from this site forum, we decided to do our sketchup file what we plan to do. Our studio will be placed in the attic, above warehouse, but the very same building is apart from all houses nearby, so we won`t have noise problems with neighbours. Acoustic music recording is our primary aim, but we would like to have a studio for possible work with all other music genres. We made a design for our attic studio, and we are sending our sketch. We also expect your design suggestions or possible corrections, as well as advices for work on acoustic walls (on acoustic forum)for specific shape of attic area. Our sketch is bigger than 700 kb, so we send it on John`s contact mail from home page, suppose it`s OK. ziveli Zavet

another option is to host the file on another site and provide a link to it.
Or maybe this way?

It looks a bit damp in there? Is that moitsure damage on the plywood?
No, there`s no moisture inside, the stain you see is from the paint. This attic was a workshop before, we still clean it, there were lot of different kinds of machines and stuff in it, as it can be seen.
looks like a decent plan. i would suggest some clouds spanning the peak to reduce the focusing effect. in the CR this may be a hard surface (maybe a membrane absorber) to also the symmetry of the ceiling so the peak is behind the desk and then use absorption to control the reflections. in the live room, just hanging down some absorbers (spaced apart maybe 300-500mm) to use the overhead peak for trapping. some scattered absorbers on the angled walls to get the room response to where you want it.
Hi, Gullfo, thank you for your suggestions. In the meantime, we are thinking to turn around CR for 180 degrees to get little more space in the live room, we suppose this new position should not change anything in sound inside CR. Cloud spanning and using other absorbers as you suggested is something that we will do for sure, but right now we are still cleaning the space and preparing it for work, as well as providing the materials needed. This means that we are going to next phase, constructing out studio. Should we need some help, we will be free to ask you, noticing that (only) you (for now) are replying our posts, and trying to help. If you think it would be more appropriate, we can do it on studio construction forum.
you might consider making the CR isolation walls straight on the front side so you can fit in enough LF treatments when including angles on the back part of the side walls etc.
