Hi, The budget for my studio build is $1000.00. I attached two drawings, one video clip, and three photo's. These media illustrations should provide you with an overview of my rooms (layout, dimensions, and proposed studio design). My proposed studio design is merely a thought; with that said, I am open to any design that allows for me to be able to record vocals, mix, and master audio on a professional level. Although my drawings do not illustrate the usage and placement of acoustic treatment, I am in great need of your expertise in this area as well. In short, I need a top-notch plan; a plan that also incorporates the usage and placement of diffusers, absorption, and bass traps. I recently signed a new artist whose project I will be releasing (commercially) in the near future. In addition to the aforementioned, I just recently established solid contacts with two major recording labels (in regards to publishing). With that being said, I need a studio design that will allow for me to achieve superb results when it comes to recording vocals, mixing, and mastering of audio! Since my budget is tight, I am willing to be hands on in every aspect! If I NOTE: In regards to preexisting acoustic treatment within this room, the following exists: 1) Rug on the floor. 2) Roxul (RHT 80) was placed inside of the walls during construction. When looking into this room from the entry door, Roxul was placed inside of walls on the left, and the rear wall. (The rear wall has the entry door built into it). 3) I will be filling the floor, the right wall, and the front wall (the front wall has the window on it) with blown-in insulation. NOTE: This room is located on the second floor. Finally, I would like to humbly thank, in advance, everyone who helps to make this project a success! This forum is a blessing. Thank you!

it looks like a reasonably plan. it will likely take you way more than $1000 to make a professional studio out of it but if you compromise on that goal, you could use something like an exterior door with a window on the booth to solve the door and visibility.

Yes, you're definitely right about this project costing more than $1K to build! I will have to hit at this project in phases. That's the only way to make this happen without compromising! In regards to your drawing, what are your suggestions in regards to the placement of diffusion and absorption? In addition, with regards to your drawing, can you provide me with some rough estimates on dimensions? Thanks for your time and assistance.
the attached sketchup file is 3D and pretty accurate based on your dimensions provided.
OK. Thanks.
