Wanted to put this question outside of my current 'design' thread [UAN Control Room]. As the title states, I'm curious to the possibility of using an Ionizer as a substitute for a 'fresh air' duct for a room [in particular, my Control Room]. I've been looking into some of the 'duct-less' HVAC for my single room, liking the idea of 'minimum' penetration of the sealed room. I understand that a newer product is coming out that has a 'fresh air' feed for a ductless system [I just haven't found it as yet]. I'd sure be interested in views from the experts on this issue. Thanks everyone !!
the ionizer doesn't purge CO2 or create oxygen. you need to have the air exchange. a simple way to do this is to use the existing basement space (assuming it has air exchange) and a pair of baffle boxes to draw air through. there are also products like AeroPac which are nice and since you're up near Canada, you might be able to find one locally. Hello Mr. Gulfo, I am very new to this forum and posted my first thread here because I was having the same confusion in my mind regarding my studio. I also thought for an ionizer but before taking any suggestion from some expert I can not install it. I tried searching on other websites too. Finally came here through Google (thanks to them). Let me see if I can get some queries for you. _____ [SPAM SIGNATURE DELETED BY MODERATOR]
