I've got a question, I'm planning to build a home studio in my basement. The whole basement is massive and unfinished but I essentially want to build the studio in one of 2 opposite corners. One of them has a more traditional structural layout where as the other one is essentially half an octagon. Since the inner room of the control room already gets shaped like half a pentagon, I was wondering in which of these two areas to start in. Would it be more benefitial to work with the already warped room? Nicolas Toronto, Canada

which one is larger? i'd tend to opt for the single space but some of that decision would be based on how it fits within the overall basement and what is going to be above it.
