nice location to build! i think there are several aspects to this design that i would consider: the snack/food bar right next to the control room entry encourages people to loiter there - maybe thats the purpose. the rehearsal room right next the bathrooms could be noisy for either party plus it would be nice for an extra isolation room. the vox booth seems small and is the only entry into the live room - so basically people need to load their instruments in through the control room, the tight small airlock, and finally the vox booth - moving drums and pianos will be tricky. the storage room has access only from the live room. the CR has no available space for wall treatments and seems a bit small for the overall size of things.
Thanks a lot, I'm going to recheck everything with the informations you just gave me... And by the way, if you want to make any changes directly to it, I can send you the File so you can edit it... I will start the construction on january so I have plenty of time to make changes... thats the second floor of my company, it doesn't have divisions inside, just the building walls and the stairway, at the lowest point it is 3.5 meters and at the highest is 5 meters. If you want to help me a little with the design I really appreciate it... In my country all the studios are small and cheap... I want to make one like in the united states to start making good thing with our dominican music Thanks
I took this studio as a Reference

is this an existing building or something from the ground up? if it is the latter, there is probably a much better range of options.
Is an existing building..... But it doesn't have divisions (walls) in the inside... Just the outer walls... and the studio I took for reference is the henson recording studios in CA... this is their webpage http://www.hensonrecording.com/
yeah, the Henson facility is pretty nice... since it's an existing building you will want to ensure that any scaling from the Henson design is actually appropriate for you. one issue i see is the entry into the live room. is the currently building multiple levels on that floor or a single level?
Hi... The floor is one level, the doble level in one part of the CR is just an esthetic design... but if that is going to affect the acoustic of the room... bye bye to the 2nd level
OOOOOhhhh.... sorry I didn't understand your question the first time I read it... The building's Floor is concrete and on top of that floor I'm going to put a wooden floor.
do you have a blank floor plan which indicates the existing structure, walls, doors, windows, what can be changed, etc? plus anything which might indicate how a door to the live room could be added.
