Just joined the forum, must say I love it!
Here are some pictures of what I'm currently working with in one of my rooms for a vocal booth.
Do ya'll think (yes i'm from Texas) that I need to make the frame throughout the whole closet, or use the drywall in the closet as the walls for my booth?
I'll add more pictures later as more is accomplished, thanks!

Hi Lane,
Welcome to the forum.
First, can you make a drawing of what you want to do?
Secondly can you list what you are actually going to record in your booth?
how much isolation do you need?
This place is filled with insane amounts of information, read all that you can when you get stuck ask.
I would stop building for the moment and spend a little time reading and planning. It will make your end result much more satisfying.

Steve
Agreeing totally with what Steve said (slow down! design it well, and only then build it). And adding that I'd take out the frame that you have in the bottom of the closet itself: you certainly don't want to build another resonant cavities inside what is already a resonant cavity! If that was going to be a floating floor, then forget it: that isn't the way to do it, you most likely do not need to float your floor anyway, and if you actually do need to float it, then you are going to nee a huge budget: you cannot float a floor successfully without spending lots if money...

the slant is the wall where the two windows are going to be ( 2 layers) on 1/2inch peice of glass. then the other being 1/4inch thick.
the outside walls are going to be sheetrock. Each stud will be lined with john's sound barrier insulation. and 1/2inch thick foam boards.
i have my plans, but they are not on the computer.
does this sound ok?I'm sorry Lane but that is not OK.
Regards,
Steve
Definitely not OK! Like I said before: Forget about that "floating" floor! Take it out. It is NOT doing you any good, and WILL cause you problems. And you most likely do not need one anyway.
The rest of what you described is also not OK.
Slow down.
Design it right first.
And only THEN should you start building.
Everything you have done so far is useless.
