Hi all! We built a studio a bit more than two years ago and I got a lot of tips, advice and ideas from people here at the forum. Cannot thank you enough for that! We are now in the process of renting some more space in connection to the current studio, to build the Studio B. What we need is: * A mixing/mastering room * A small booth for vocal overdubs and possibly some reamping * Some storage space would be good I attached a sketch of the space we are hoping to rent. It's basically a concrete bunker, ceiling height Approx 3 meters. Any ideas are most welcome!

There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do if you want to get replies, and how this forum works. The announcement leads to this post (click here). Please read that, and especially the part relative to your post here. Folks here will help you with your design, for sure, but you have to do the basic work yourself. Nobody is going to design your entire studio for you for free. If you don't know how to do it yourself, and aren't willing to learn, then hire John to do it for you. The purpose of this forum is to help people who are prepared to do most of the learning and design themselves, and just ask here when they get stuck. The purpose of this forum is not for people to post a drawing of a rectangle and expect us to do it all for you. - Stuart -
Fair enough. I would actually be willing to pay for the design, don't want to waste a bunch of money on building it wrong anyway. I'll get in touch with John directly instead. Cheers. EDIT: Just wanted to clarify that what I was mainly looking for was a floor plan to have an idea on where to begin, I have the construction bit pretty much under control since I learned a lot from building the current studio. But either way, I've written to John now, so we'll see what happens! EDIT 2: It ended up a bit outside our budget so I'll try to design something based on some other designs I've seen here (leaning towards something similar to "garage 1.gif" from the SAE site). But I'll for sure be back with some questions! I'll try to specify the details a bit better; sorry about wasting the forum space with the above post, I didn't have much more details to provide but I was just hoping for some starting points. But I'll be back soon with some more information!
