I have to design a CR and a live room to record strings and wind instruments, a video editing room with a vocal booth, a reception and a meeting office, into the next space that its located at the second floor of the building. The walls are made of solid brick with a thickness of 2'.

My idea its to build the CR and the live room in the "existing rooms" like this

The CR rooms its 16.6' long x 12.4' wide and 18' high, and the live room its 16,6' x 15' x 18'. So my idea its to make a new ceiling at the CR at 10' to 11' with drywall sheets and on top put some bass traps. The design idea its a RFZ rooms with flush mounted monitors, (Genelec 8040 or 8050). The fron wall will be full of bass traps in the lowe part with some iso cabinets for the cpu and audio interfaces, the upper part would be covered with mdf of 1", and the rear wall covered with QRD diffusors and bass traps from 6 to 12". The side walls in the low and upper parts will have bass traps also.

In the live rooms i was thinking on some mid/high traps, QRD diffusors and some sloted walls in the corner, for the ceiling i have the idea on installing suspendend absorbent panels of 4`x4`x4", or its better to make a hard ceiling??
