Good Day All! I'd like some help with a design. I am in Miami, FL. This studio will be mainly for my voice over work. However, I will also be tracking vocals for local singers from time to time. The space is somewhat of an odd configuration (8ft X 20ft) which is why I need the help. My budget for the build is no more than $2500 US. I have no neighbors to complain about noise as this is being built within my existing office location. I have not started any construction yet, the design needs to fit within confines of the general sketch attached. The area in the sketch that I intend to use as a vocal is concrete on 3 sides and the ceiling is 8 feet talk in all areas. I hope I've provided enough info. Thank you in advance to all those who weigh in on this studio design question. K.C.

K.C., I'm somewhat confused by what exactly you want designed. Are you simply building a vocal booth, or are you building a mixing area as well?
Hi Browale, thank you for responding. The answer is both. The larger area that you see (20X8) I would like that that to be the mix area. But I am having trouble figuring how to configure the space. The smaller (5X10) is where I plan to record the vocals.
