Hi all,
i'm a newbie in acoustic and on this forum so "please be gentle"
i have this little studio,
untill now i've used the B-area as a kind of control room/all purpose room, without acustical treatment
cause my little desk with pc, an onyx mixer, two PM2 nearfield and some rackunit doesn't give me much problems,
so i just put the desk in front of the glass, 2 panels at sides and it's ok
NOW
we get some new gears, including a Soundcraft 600 console, and it's time to make a step on professional
so i need some good suggestion to make B-area a good control room
here some specs:
-all measures are metrical
-external walls are 25cm thick, sand-brick, so neighbours are ok
-concrete ceiling is 3,90 with a mineralfiber counter-ceiling at 3,05
except on yellow zone where the counterceil raise from 3,05 to 3,80 (the window height)
-soundcraft 600 is 1,15mt large per 0,90
-i use only nearflied monitor and a couple of consumer hi-fi
-we are on a small city so we have to work on all genres from classical to deathmetal
- what else ? ask me...
and please excuse my bad english
Tnx Max
