Im Torn... help with decision

I'm torn... I really want to leave my garage door as I'm out in the boonies and am not worried about noise from the outside but I'm concerned with how this will affect the overall sound of the room. The room sounds good now actually, a little boxy but decent. Also do I divide the room to make a separate control room or keep it one big room and treat it... what are the cons and pros of these approaches? I'm worried the tracking room will be too small.. John
