hey guys!!
my friend made an example of how my workstation going to look like =)
all the measurements are real! exact size of everything =)
what u think?)))
It's hard to tell from your isometric projection without dimensions, but if you spend a bit of time reading the sticky forum posts you'll find lots of ways to improve your plan. As looks now, you could improve the room dramatically just by moving things around.
The main things that jump out at me are:
1. Monitors should probably fire down the longer dimension of the room rather than across it.
2. Monitors should aim at the engineer's head, which should be located 38% down the length of the room.
3. Broadband panels will do a lot more if they straddle corners. Larger bass trapping or superchunks would be even better.
4. What's on the rear wall?
5. Do you own or rent? What kind of changes are possible?
Not to mention the curious lack of absorption directly behind the speakers, and the lack of room symmetry.
Having your speakers sitting directly on top of shelves like that is a pretty bad idea, too. They should be on massive stands, and decoupled. Or better yet, soffit mounted.
That doesn't look like a good plan at all, to be honest.

Why? Because you don't like hearing about everything that is wrong with that design and how it can be improved? Or because you don't want to abide by the forum rules?
