Firstly, i appologise if i have forgotten something in the rules bout posting.
I have a one car garage that is connected but is not integral to the house. the internal dimensions are 2.6m wide by 5.5m.
I plan to put a small control room and booth in th garage so i can move my music equipment out of the house.
I have a digital drumkit, so the loudest thing i would need to record would be vocals. The garage is not close to any neighbours so sound insulation wouldnt have to be excessive.
i have been looking at various small studio designs on sketchup and i have recently used them and the flying fox design to have a go.
currently plan to use the reverse plaster and insulation design of wall (plaster-board on outside, insulation inside with material).
I have done a basic drawing on autocad (a program i use for a living and more familiar with). hope this is enough to get some responses, once again appologises if i have missed something.

Hi. This space is small, so you would definitely be better keeping it as one room. You can use gobo's or a reflexion filter to record vox.
You need to setup facing the wall opposite the door with the speakers pointing down the long face of the room. I suppose the thing to bear in mind is not to expect miracles. But with enough acoustic treatment (bass traps), you could probably turn this pinto a usable space.
Hope this helps
