Alright. So this is my very first post, long time lurker here! Long story short. My parent are letting me use a small portion of their barn to build a recording studio/control room, etc. My goal is to be able to mix in a good acoustic environment as well as record a full drum set at the most. I will upload some pics of the area I have to work with. But basically I have to decide whether or not to do this as a one LONG room or separate and make one room DEAD and the other the control room. Please help me out! I am new to sketchup but will upload a very general idea of the space I have to work with... looking forward to hearing back from someone! Chelsey ps. the basic size of this building is... 9' x 24' with the smaller end being only 7'6'' tall and the taller end being 9'6'' tall.

I am also thinking about knocking out a section a bit to add some more room for my control room... here is what it looks like so far... again, i suck with sketchup... HELP ME!
