can my floor support the weight of a booth?

i am planning on building a 1400-lb modular vocal booth that is 6' x 8' x 6' 7'' tall. do you think my basement floor can support the weight? will there be any damage to the floor under the booth?

How can we know the answer if you don't tell us what kind of floor it is in the first place? Read the stickies

Hire a structural engineer. And read the stickies, like Javier suggested.
