Signal from one room to next

Hello all, I have a question regarding passing signal from one room to the next. It's a project studio. Basic acoustic wall treatment. Standard walls that you would find in any house or apartment. Just trying to be able to lay drums down for some demo work. Have my kit set up in one room and was planning on utilizing a snake versus wall plates, and go straight into my digi003. I can't do any major construction as I do not own this property, but I do have permission to pass the snake through the wall. Any suggestions as to the best way to do this? Any help is appreciated.
