Single "Super Door" or Two Solid Core Doors

Still getting designs together, but started to demo the rooms that are to be built out. Have a couple of smaller Overdub/ VO rooms that we're tackling first and had a question about doors. Was looking at Rod's book on building a "Super Door". Obviously, two of these doors is going to be preferable to one, but in comparing a single SD to two conventional good quality 1-3/4" solid core doors, which is going to give you better isolation performance assuming they're all sealed correctly. Since these are small rooms (aprox. 9' x 13') the inner and outer framed walls are going to be fairly close (1" air gap). One door would be a much nicer size solution, but I'd rather double up if I'm going to get better isolation. Any suggestions welcome.
If you have a build thread you should keep all of your questions in that thread...it just makes it easier on everyone involved, you included :).

Yes I plan on doing that, but just have had a few questions come up as I've been getting design ideas together. I plan on posting some pics of the whole building and project next week.
Would your 2 single doors be on seperate frame/walls?

1" air gap!!! If you only have a one inch gap in your MSM system, then it hardly seems worthwhile building decent doors. You won't get good isolation if you only have 1" of air between your leaves, so it doesn't seem worth the trouble to build doors that might be better than your wall. Minimum air gap should be FOUR inches. Anything less and your MSM resonant frequency goes up, reducing isolation. Unless you are planning to put some really serious mass on those walls! - Stuart -
I'm trying to keep the room size as large as I can on these vocal/OD rooms. I'll consider a bigger separation, at least on the walls next to sensitive adjoining areas if that will make a difference.
If you were to post your SketchUp model of your design, then people would be able to comment more intelligently, and probably offer suggestions on things you might be able to do. Have you considered building inside-out, so at least you won't waste extra space unnecessarily for the acoustic treatment? - Stuart -
More pointedly, how much sound isolation do you need and how much TL do have fromt he walls? Honestly, vague questions can not be answered satisfactorily. Andre
Sorry I'll ask me question a different way. Will the 2 doors be sharing a door frame? At 1in door handles won't fit. Plus sharing a frame will ruin having to seperate shells.
