Hello folks,
I have a solid concrete room with ceramic floor tiles. The dimensions are H = 8'3" W=10'5" L= 24'2". I've posted a 3-D drawing to look at. You can find it here:

Assuming that my priority is to have a great sounding studio, and that isolation is not a priority,
1. Shall I split the room in half (control/listening), or shall I record and mix in the same room?
2. The window in the drawing - I'm considering fitting a quiet split unit A/C flush into the window space and blocking up the rest. The condenser would sit on the outside of the building. Is this a bad idea? Does anyone have any other suggestions?
3. The 11" concrete partition in the middle of the ceiling - how shall I deal with that? Shall I curve a piece of thin plywood around it (to serve a deflector)? Shall I treat that area with angled bass traps?
Thanks,
Nima

Anyone?
no, not really. sorry
1st - Read the stickies, please.
2nd - Get involved; read this forum as is was the "how to build a soundroom-bibble". It's crammed with good info which sure will answer your questions.
3rd - It would be wise to post that JPG here, inline. Like this:

(the room is tiny, I'd go with a one-room set-up)
We sure would like to help, but you gotta do some homework first. Help us help you.
cheers!
