Hello forum. I am getting ready to mount glass in my new window frames, and I'm wondering what thickness and durometer setting blocks to purchase? How big should the pieces be (length/width), and do I just use one under each end of the glass, or should I use some in the middle as well? The glass I'm mounting is (approximately) 3'x6'x3/4", and 3'x6'x1/2". Weights for each pane are circa 190lbs, and 130lbs respectively. Also, as for glazing tape; what type/thickness should be used. Is all glazer's tape sticky on both sides? Has anybody used the 3M™ VHB™ Structural Glazing Tape? Link here: http://www.franklowe.com/specialty.html Thanks to all for any info!
Your best bet is to stop down a local glass company in your town and you can get everything you need and want (answers included) Rod
