Hello again!
Here is the most important question I have related to my other topic here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13677
Should I take off these horizontal wood planks located at the back side of the two leaf wall and just replace them by drywall boards?
I'm scared they would just contribute to sound transmission or at the opposite, would these planks make my wall thicker with 1/2 drywall on top of these?
For the second leaf, the front of the wall (in the tracking room) will be 5/8 drywall on resilient channel and ROXUL inbetween studs

I would need a quick answer as my friends and I are going to build up the walls tomorrow night.
Thanks!

I'll give you a quick answer, but you must remember what you paid for it.
If this were one of my projects, I would ask myself if re-nailing the sheathing is possible. If it is, then I would do it, the re-nailing.
On most occasions I would take the sheathing like what you have, off. But since I cannot see what I am doing, so to speak, and do not know with any certainty how much this sheathing is involved in the structures ability to stay upright, I would only suggest making it tighter with more "clavos".
As it stands at this viewing, the wall in question is not a two leaf wall, just in case that was another question as well.
"I'm scared they would just contribute to sound transmission"
Well, that fear may or may not be unfounded. But you are in need of a quick answer, and most likely one that agrees with your thinking, so move forward as discussed, and you will not be able to tell, one way or the other, if it contributes or detracts.
That I will bet on :)
