Hi 1st thanks to all of you guys sharing your knowledge and spending your free time here to help people like me. my fiend showed me this place ,as i asked him for advice a few weeks ago, and its just awesome. Now after many searches i registerd up to show you my thoughts for diy accoustic for my new appartment Im moving into this appartment (25m/4.7m/2.7m)in about 6 weeks so i have started to design a "studio" in there as far as i can with my limited knowledge and what i think i´ve learnd here in this short time with my bad english Im a DJ/beatmaker and I record vocals very few.So mixing will be the important thing for me I can ONLY use freestandig or "picture like" mounted soulutions its a rentet appartment Neighbors are no problem at all they all are commercial premises and they´re gone from4pm-7am The floors are massivewoodpanels, walls are made off "limestone"(white bricks) the hole left side is full of windows.exposed radiators and thre are "gaps" in the wall everywhere(they are like 5-6cm deep not all the same ) The ceilling is made of some kind of gypsum drywall and im in the higest floor if relevant the over all budget i have is about 1200 Euros here some pics

Here my thoughts

Panels are rockwool 50kg/m3 16cm thick and coverd with fabric Side panels and ceilling are 8cm My equipment fits easily in SpaceA and i already own the furniture for that. Space B could be good for the vocal recordings mabybe i can add there traps which helps the room and the vocals? It would be no problem to move the hole design up to 2meters torward the entrance if there would be any good for the sound. The Big question now is this deisign going in the right direction? Early Reflections Woodpanels? would this 8cm Absorber will do the job? i realy dont get it how the panel math stuff works of course i´ve seen beatifull stuff out here but i think i cant just copy without understanding whats going on Thanks upfront and heres the sktch file

hi all no replie´s till now leaves these options A: looksgood for the start(let´s see what he´s doing next) B: what does he want in this forum.laughable(let´s see what he´s doing next;) or im simply not patinent enough assuming(hoping) that A is the answer i did go on after placing the already mentioned traps the reverbtime of the high and mid frequencies should at a point i can work with for the beginning those 3 bigger panels at the ceiling corners is a start for the lows but i thought about putting 1pack of the rokwool up as a table like this

I will set up 3-5 of them to reduce the lower freqencies And i did update the sketch file

with sizes of panels made of mats i get for cheap here in the area /tables are placed just to see them I placed the sketch file in the first post to provide datatrash and confusion maybe i should´ve said that before i know that these theoretical designs and calculations will never replace a measurement in the room but moving in without a minimum of treatment done would be a nightmare. I could measure the appartment this weekend but its full of my friends stuff. What makes me think the measurements will be almost useless the 1st pics are from the time before he moved in
