Hey guys, I'm starting to get my basement reaady to do drums in but i can't find any doors that are the right height. The basement ceiling is about 7' tall and i'm looking for a solid core door that's about 6' or so. Does anyone know where to get them? Thanks --Justin
Justin, I bought recycled doors that were nine foot and just cut them to desired height. Peace Tom
cool the only thing then is hanging it properly. Is that something a carpenter should do? it doesn't have to be perfect just gotta cut the noise. Also, where can you get a recycled door? --Justin
Justin, Search for a recycle yard or a demo company. Even try searching doors. A lot of them recycle old ones. And yes the carpenter will be able to hang it properly. BUT you do want a tight fit. especially at your doors Peace Tom

Here's the Habitat for Humanity store in your area. We've got one here in Nashville, and they have a few hundred doors to choose from. You should be able to find a solid wood door there for less than $40. http://www.baltimorerestore.org/
