converting a brick garage into a recording studio

Hi I am looking at converting a brick garage on a slab (10 x 6 mtrs) with a tin roof into a recording studio. Are there any books I should read or web sites I should visit in which to give me a starting point. I would also like this space to double up as a band rehearsal room. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Regards Ted

"web sites I should visit in which to give me a starting point." This is your starting point Ted. Everywhere else is a pale imitation:)
