Opinions about applying the Golden Ratio? Room Modes??

I am sure this has been much discussed. Is applying the Golden R to a control room design relevant? Is so how do you account for angled walls or ceiling when calculating this or for that matter when calculating room modes?

I wouldn't worry TOO much about ratios in the first place (when building a room within an existing room). Yes, this has been covered a few times.
