I thought for sure someone would have tackled such a thing and spent a goodly amount of time with the SEARCH---I did find one 6 year old unanswered post. Thus & therefore, I am reaching out to you wise folk for some suggestions for dealing with greatly dampening a couple of 95 year old 2"x2" basement windows. Because I am renting I can not permanently seal it up with concrete or brick & mortar.
Originally I was going to build a drum booth in the garage, but my plans have changed and I am now looking at my basement for recording. The concrete wall is about a foot thick, but the windows start at about 4 feet off the basement floor. Is there a tried & true method for framing/sealing off basement windows for under $200 USD a window?
Many thanks,

Sealing off basement windows (in a removable way)

hey Casimer,
Keep asking questions in your original post- so we can all keep up on whats going on.
Your renting right and still building a room in room??
Do you really need to block it? Is it for sound or privacy?
Post a picture off it if you can-

Can you drill into the walls at all?
Do you want to remove the plug daily or just when you move out of the house?
I moved this to my main thread and added a JPEG and a Sketchup file:
