I'm looking to use a corner bass traps like the GIK tri traps or the RT tri-corner but I have no idea how to work with this corner. All the other corners are normal but this one is tough. Between the radiator, the window and that weird gap I don't know what to do. should i just let the bass trap not be flush with the windowed wall? should i put a bass trap INSIDE the gap? what would you do? ** note ** on the left is a closet that is normally closed, and the printer on the floor shouldn't be there.

I've been staring at that picture for atleast 2 minutes and really don't have a clue how that (part of the) room is shaped. Funny picture tho.. gheh I'd stuff it with wool, make it custom
here's a top view.

I'm guessing I would fill the gap and not use a normal corner trap but what can i use that wont be dangerous with the heat pipe/radiator?
Aloha, Perhaps you could trap the rear/ceiling and/or side wall/ceiling intersections? Aloha 8)

I don't know what intersections you're talking about, but the thing is about 3 feet deep and 11 inches wide, the diagram is not to scale...dont know if that helps
Aloha, In difficult situations like this, sometimes an alternative location for the traps are needed. One of the intersections I was referring to is where the ceiling and the wall above the window meet. Another choice might be where the rear wall and the ceiling meet. Hope this helps, Aloha 8)
aha i see. I was thinking of just stuffing the whole gap full of some sort of absorption. I'm just worried about the heat from the pipes on the fiberglass / rockwool or whatever i use.
