Hi guys, I measured my studio acoustic settings with Fuzzmeasure and the graph is this: The measure was tested with behringer measure mic and old alesis monitor, 5 feets of distance. I did more measures in different points of the controlroom but i can´t find another best choice. Controlroom size W. 12.25’ L. 18.30’ H. 8.50’, recording room it's at the other side of the door's wall: W.5’ L. 11,5’ H. 8,5’. The construction is this: Every corner were absolutly covered by 2” Roockwool 125Kg/m3 basstraps in the rear part of the black fabric panels, every wood wall in the control room uses the same Roockwool model just between the wood wall and the main walls, the ceiling is 90% covered with 2.75” Roockwool 50kg/m3 and fabric. I read all forum posts during one year ago but I’m confused… I think that’s horrible graph, but I don’t know why?, anybody can help me, please. From my ears poor LF and too much mid 1-2k like graph! What’s wrong?¿ The construction, too much bass absorbers or too less?¿ it would improve with the high absorbers and diffusers the mid-high frequencies? or 2-10k curve will be worst? I have 4 panel absorbers (2 deep bass trap and 2 high bass trap), where is the best place for you? All four in the control or 2 in the control and 2 in the recording room? My choice is in center of the walls more or less, it's a good place? The last question is the recording room, I have the same construction, basstraps in the corners and high absorbers in ceiling and one wall, the other wall it’s better all absorbent or with wood? I want record voice mainly but guitars and acustic instruments too. Thanks a lot for all, and great forum guys!!!!!

1) Compared to a preamp or sound card, all rooms look horrible when graphed, even rooms that are well treated. 2) Your 2-inch panels are not thick enough for bass frequencies. For panels made of plain rigid fiberglass or mineral wool, four inches thick is the minimum. --Ethan
Hi Ethan, thanks for your answer! Then i need another 2" in the basstraps or with the 4 panel absorbers in the center of the room it is sufficient? What's the reason for poor bass response then? Thaaanks Ethan!

Hi folks, my poor bass response would improve with more basstraps? With the ceiling, what's the best choice, all 3" roockwool covered? if it's not... where is the best places? all in the center of the ceiling? asimetrical? Thanks guys i'm confused!!!!

Yes, and the bass traps need to be thicker too.

You need absorption at the reflection points on the ceiling. See this: Early Reflections How to set up a room Then put bass traps around the perimeter at the wall-ceiling corners. --Ethan
Great Ethan, i understand... The last question is the recording room W.5’ L. 11,5’ H. 8,5’, I have the same construction, basstraps in the corners and high absorbers in ceiling and one wall (totally covered), the other big wall it’s better all absorbent or with wood? I want record voice mainly but guitars and acustic instruments too. Thanks
A tiny room like that needs broadband absorption. --Ethan
