Hello, I'm trying to do a 3D layout of my little home studio, and I've seen some awesome pictures here, but can't find the models on Google's 3D warehouse...
I'm specifically looking for sketchup models of:
Adam A7 monitors
Mopads
Euphonix MC Mix
Presonus Central Station and Remote
Peavey JSX 212 combo
Pedaltrain 2 pedal board
If anyone has any of these models, I'd really appreciate it... back to sketching up my desk now!
Thanks,
Justin
Looking for some sketchup models

bump? Esp. looking for the A7s...
Justin - you probably won't find them here or anywhere. I have to make them myself for all my models.
How does one make exact measurement models? I know one can use scale, but if you're just trying to correct a side by a few inches w/o changing a perpendicular side it seems its a pain the butt.
to make the adams A7 speaker I would find a picture of the front of the speaker.
Then follow the actions in this model. Use page up/down to change each scene.
I made a rough model of an A7 for my room design, and I posted some questions on flush mounting A7's a while back, using that model. It's not 100% accurate, but it works for what I need. Look on my design thread and see if you think that would help you. If so, then I'll extract it from my model and post it for you.

Yes, that would help a lot! :DI made a rough model of an A7 for my room design, and I posted some questions on flush mounting A7's a while back, using that model. Justin - the one I posted is accurate.
Here's the thread where I first asked the question last year:

You can see some of the images there. And here is the SKP file with the speaker in it, if you want it.
However, in my version the geometry at the top front edge is not 100% accurate since it is based on the S25, not the A7, but the overall dimensions are fine.
So I'd certainly suggest that you go with John's version (thanks John!) which actually is the A7! I'll be updating my own design with John's version, and scrapping mine, since accuracy is what it is all about.

Thanks, that will def. for me until John posts his model... as long as the dimensions are correct, it should be perfect for figuring out where to put stuff in my room!
I posted the model - just open the skp file - page through to the last scene and there's the model
Save as a component.
John already did post his model! It's a few posts back, where he says : "to make the adams A7 speaker I would find a picture of the front of the speaker. Then follow the actions in this model. Oh, I missed that post... that is a fantastic looking Sketchup, one of the best I've seen! LOVE IT! :D
