Hi everyone,
Im an architecture student. I'm doing an academic level project of designing an animation studio.I need to design recording studios in it and I'm new to this topic. Can someone please guide me in this?
I just need to know what requirements are there in designing a studio.
whether there is a height width ratio. Any acoustical requrements? whether there should always be angle walls ect.........
It will be a great help if someone can help me in this matter.
Thank you
How can I design a studio?

Sorry to be blunt and harsh, but your question really cannot be answered.
It's kind of like a student chef going to a cooking forum, and saying "I need to make a meal. How do I do that? Please help".
Or an architectural student going to an architects forum, and saying "I need to design a building. How do I do that. Please help".
What I'm saying is that you need to at least know the basics of what you are trying to accomplish, do some research, work up your own concept using the principles you discover,
and then post your rough ideas and outlines, in order for the experts here to comment on.
Nobody here will do your homework for you.
You have to do your homework yourself. Research, read, learn, try to understand the basic concepts, then post a rough layout along your design goals and a description of what you expect it to accomplish, then show it here and ask for comments and help. If you do that, then I'm sure you will get plenty of comments and lots of help.
But nobody can help you design a studio based on zero input, just as nobody can tell the cook what kind of meal he needs to make, or the architect what kind of building he should design, based on zero input regarding the goal.
Also, there is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible. The announcement leads to this post (click here). Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will not reply if you don't do what is written in that post. Many others who are very helpful, will not reply out of respect for the moderators' wishes.
I hope you don't take this as being harsh and unfeeling, but folks here will always tell it like it is, bluntly and to the point, even if it hurts. That's what I'm doing. Sorry.
