Hello, I'm new to this forum and also very novice to acoustic treatment issue.. I want to treat my room and i will use my room for mixing, arranging only.. I have 10 broadband rockwool panels which are 60x120 centimeters and 10 centimeters thick.. My room have pretty good ratio, little problematic @ 40 to 47 hz (online analysis results were 4 yellow, 1-2 areas???) But i also have 3 problem areas which i can't solve by reconstruction.. So i did a sketch of my room with exact proportions. Waiting for your advices, solutions.. I'm sorry for my terrible English. Thank you! Here are my drawings and a sketchup file for those who have it. http://www.mediafire.com/file/jgynm2wzxnm/studiom.skp

Why are those areas a problem? You can straddle the panels with no problems to those corners anyway. Like Ethan says, you can never have too many bass traps, so start placing them first on your front wall behind the speakers, then on your side, then at your back wall. Also put a couple or one on each corner of the room IF you cant put a trap on the back-right corner, then just leave it like that. Put all the panels and then listen how your room sounds, also , if possible, measure it after the panels are installed to see whats left to do. You can also put a couple of panels above your listening position. Cheers
So it should be better to place 4 tri corners and doubling bass traps in the front wall instead of putting 2 bass traps in the problem back corners? Right now i'm adding acoustic panels to the sketch so that we may have an option to choose which is right which is not.. Thank you.
So here are the sketches with the panels. Each is 10cm thick. 60x120 cm which one is a better solution? i can also add some more panels to my room later on but can't add tri corners to the probem areas.. another solution maybe? waiting for your advices..

Personally, if I only had ten of those, I think I'd do two diagonally across the front corners (vertically), two diagonally across the back corners (vertically), one on each side at first reflection points (vertically), one hanging either vertically or horizontally on the front wall between / behind the speakers, two overhead for a cloud, and one horizontally on the back wall somewhere. But just ten of those isn't much. It's a start, but you'll need much more. - Stuart -
