Hello everyone. I've been floating around this website for a while now gathering information. LOVE the site! Thank you John and all the other great moderators/posters on here!
I don't have a studio in the works YET but I am trying to learn more about designs.
Here is my question....
Have I totally missed it or does there happen to be a post somewhere full of different Sketchup layouts? Something similar to the "Sample floor plans for Bedroom, Garage, and Larger Rooms" post but one that includes the Sketchup files.
I've been trying to gather sketchup files of all of the great studios I see being designed.
Is there a post or sticky of these that I've overlooked?
I don't mind doing the homework and searching through all the posts trying to find them if that is what everyone else does. I just thought it would be great if they were posted somewhere and I thought surely someone has done that by now.
OR is there a way to use the search function to find these? If there is I'm overlooking it and I apologize for the ignorant question.
Thanks everyone!!!!
Sketchup files for various layouts????

Hey there, and welcome! That's actually a good point: As far as I know, there isn't any such thread here, but it sounds like a good idea. Most designs / SketchUp files appear in the threads of individual builders, but I don't think there is any thread that links to all of them.
It looks like the only way to find them is by scanning though the build threads. But that's actually a very interesting occupation! When you do that, you run into so much fascinating information about acoustics, construction, isolation, treatment, etc. that it makes the hunt for SketchUp files worthwhile.
The other issue is that most designs here are tailored to fit specific spaces, budgets and needs, so many of them might not be that useful as a "drag and drop" approach. But they'll still be useful for getting ideas.
