Hey Steve! Have you played with the Sketchup file anymore? What other ideas have you come up with? Post them here so we can see what you came up with. Even if it's a little crude, it would help to see what ideas or alterations to the ideas that were given to you you may have come up with. You are the one who has access to the actual space and will know best what is going to work for you. Thanks Bryon
Well, I've messed with some stuff but nothing I'm happy with yet. :horse: I'm really diggin the first example that you posted Bryon, I have to redraw it and see where I could move the vocal booth... who knows!! If anyone has any suggestions, I'd sure love to hear 'em!!
I still can't come up with anything I'm happy with. I really want a nice comfy control room, as I'll be the one spending time in there... all of my designs seem to end up with me smelling the bass players nacho breath when we listen down... I'm hoping someone might have a fantastic alternative for me!!! Thanks! - Mojo
Ok... here's a new control room layout using the Desart/Louden ratio Ceiling height is 8'6" so... 102", 137.7", 188.7" I had to modify the "squareness" of the control exterior wall to maintain the hallway access... What do y'all think??

On the left side of your control room would you be doing a slat type wall? If so you really need to mirror that design on the other side. I see that you need access to the entrance door, but maybe there's a half way point that will allow for the same/equal absorbtion on both sides. BTW - drthump70 design was almost identical to the one I was working on. Sorry I never got back to you
Hiya! I don't quite understand what you're saying. Could you explain??? No prob with the design!! I'm on a push now because the control room (at least) has to be finished in the next 9 mos... Which means the ENTIRE design needs to be finalized really soon (so I can run ductwork and such...). I appreciate the help and suggestions from everyone!!! -Mojo
