Hallo all, I do have some stereo image pdoblem in my room, the center is slightly moved to the left (vocal.bass) and long reveb tail (hall) is moved to the right I gues the cause of this problem is the shape of the room. Unfortunatly I may not build an extra wall to make the room more symmetrical. What will be your suggestions to overcome this by the means of acoustic materials treatment: where to put. how much.and what kind? Thaks in advance :D

There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible. The announcement leads to this post. Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will not reply if you do not do what is written in the post. Many others who are very helpful, will not reply out of respect for the moderators' wishes.
You should post this to the acoustic forum, as IMHO, your problem (and solution) lays in that area... Maybe a corner trap (superchunck) on the left corner, absorbing everything there, will fix your stereo image... Cheers, John

Vito, If I may. There is a reason that "rules" are in place anywhere, and @ Mr. Sayers website it is no different. There are many reasons you could be having this image smear. And it has everything to do with the materials used in your studio/room and many other factors. Because of your geographical location, one could guess that concrete or some other dense and reflective material is a large part of your studio. But you did not say that :) Coupled with that is a large glass window in front of you. What else are we left to guess at in order to help you with this concern? You mention nothing that you have already installed in order to control this stereo image concern. There are many details and there is only so much time in a day that the decent people on this website have, to use, to help those that ask. No one can help you except to suggest this or that. But having nothing to go on, as much harm could be done as good :) Read them stickies :)
