i am running rehearsal rooms which all have double doors and an airlock inbetween. if the inside door is closed to hard, bada bing, the outside one pops open.
besides replacing the door handles and latch, is there a pressure system/sensor that is attached to a light/chime in the room that could cancel out my noise woes and get the band to keep the doors closed them self?
door airlock problem

Maybe you could use one of those cheap battery operated wireless doorbell systems? Mount the transmitter in the gap between the doors and modify it a bit, replacing the button by wiring in a couple of switches on the doors, so that it rings when only one door is open, but not when both are open or both closed? That should be easy enough to do, and if it is wireless, you won't need to drill holes for cables. Just remember to replace the batteries every few weeks!
