Hello guys,
It's been a while since I visited this fantastic forum!
Back then I was preparing to build my own studio.

Now I finished it and I'm pretty happy with the results.
The next step for me is to adress the accoustics even more.
To be able to do this I measured my control room response, using REQ freeware. I used a C414 in omni pattern, in the mix position, playing a full range sine sweep through KRK RP8 monitors.
See the result of the response from 20-300Hz in the picture attached.
So, what do you guys think? Is it acceptable? What should be improved?
Thanks for any help!
Control room response...how bad is it??

Looks pretty good to me.
OK, thanks!
Didn't expect that, to be honest.
What would be acceptable for professional control rooms?
Anyone know of any good reference books on this subject?
Thanks again!
What does the low end response of the KRK RP8's look like? I imagine that's what's responsible for the roll-off below 70 Hz.?
But the big question is: How does the room SOUND? :)
If you can get the response to within a 10 dB window you're doing very well. I'll also mention that you should display / post a waterfall graph because that tells much more than the basic response you posted. What would be acceptable for professional control rooms?
