Good book about monitor soffit mounting?

Are there any books that cover this matter on a deper basis? I've just read Home recording studio Build it like the pros. It's a great read and got a lot of info from it. But i find that it misses some info. I'd like to see soffit mounting more in depth, alternative materials instead of wood if possible. And in general to see various materials in wall building. Aluminium doors and so on. Thanks!
