Hi all. It’s been a long time but now my internet access and computer work again
:D
Another Idea Re: tuning rooms acoustically.
I am considering making a sliding panel in front of another fixed panel for my ceiling Both panels would have square shaped holes in them. By sliding the bottom panel, I could adjust the size of the holes therefore the amount of absorbency that is exposed to the room.
I hope my description makes sense? :?
A midrange absorber panel on the roof with panel 50% square holes.
With another layer of timber (50% square holes offset) which slides to adjust the size of the holes from the panel behind it.
So I figure the whole thing could vary from 50% obsession to 100% reflection?
Has anyone tried this? What are your thoughts? Is it worth the effort to be able to vary the control on the reflections?
P.S I am not offended by any criticisms about the idea
Thanks in advance.

I think it's an interesting concept. But with out a design it's still conceptual. Draw it! You may get a better response.
