Brand new here on this site. Thanks for any help you may offer. My husband is wanting to build me a studio as the second floor to the garage he is building. The upstairs will be up to a total of 700 sq ft and will have 8 foot walls with vaulted ceilings (or not if you tell me it's a bad idea). I would like for someone to send suggestions on the best use of space, please. The stairs are outside, so that will not take up space. I would like a control room, iso booth, live room, and lounge if possible. If anyone is willing to help with ideas, I would so appreciate it.

The best advise is to hire an acoustic engineer. This is a DIY forum and you have to do some homework. you came to the right place already, now enjoy it :)
