Can someone suggest a good way to get my burlap to stay tight around my recessed lights. Ceiling is 2" footers every 16" with r-30 stuffed up in between each one. Lights are hung between joists.
I thought about cutting plywood rings to go right around the lights and I would staple the burlap to that and cover it with the light trim.
Anyone have a better idea. Thanks for any suggestions!

hope these help
IainHi:
I would carefully consider what type of material you are going to put in close proximity to recessed lighting fixtures if I were you. I am finishing a commercial studio build (MEOW MIX) and I was careful to use flame retardant cloth for my wall and ceiling treatments. Even in a home situation, wouldn't you want the peace of mind.... knowing that there was less likelihood that one of your recessed lights isn't going to burn down your studio???
Interfacefabrics.com offers a line of Class 1 Fire Retardant fabrics in a number of colors. You can buy by the yard, or in bolts of about 60 yds. x 66" wide. Not cheap, but better than having a deja vu from the nightclub fire in Rhode Island.
Good luck.
