Hello,
First of all, I'm not a very experienced guy with the room acoustics, but anyway would like to give a shot..
Here is my room. My main goal is to make it a good control room for professional mixing. The owner of the room gave me a permission to make some acoustical solutions to the room. The room is located in a separate building with no neighbours, so there is not a necessarity for soundproofing.
I'm mainly working with my Yamaha NS-10's, with average listening volume around 70-80db.
All the walls of the room are made of concrete.
The dimensions of the room are following:
Room length: 18,7ft
Room width: 14ft
Room height: 9,84ft
On the left hand side of the room there are a couple of windows. (no poles or anything else disturbing the room;)
There is an 0,394 inch acoustic panel on the roof already assembled.
I also have around 795 square feet of ecophon forte acoustic panels lying in the storage.
Budget is small. Under 1000$.
Ideas are welcome.
Regards: Mikko

P.S. I put a little idea which was based on the one of John's studio plans.
Any sense on that one?
