Hi!
I'm building my studio (see my thread for "Dr. Mike Records") and I have planned a couple of corner traps (WxHxD = 120x232x65) fully filled with not-so-rigid glasswool in it. I would wrap them with plastic foil (170g/m2 --> 0.2 mm thick) so all above 500Hz is reflected.
--BUT-- what about hangers? I could also use this space to put hangers in...
approx. 11 hangers, each 220m high and in various widths of 70cm down to 10cms would be possible...
what is more efficient?
super-chunks vs. bass hangers

*push* nobody ever thought about a comparison how to use the corners best?
Hangers. Using low density insulation.

Hi Andre,
thanks for your suggestion. My corners are pretty small (WxHxD = 120x232x65cm), you still think, hangers are more powerful absorbers for low mids and bass, and leave the highs untouched?
Else I thought, I'd gain exactly that by superchunks with plastic foil...
are there any measurements, at what freq. those hangers will work how?
