Dear All,
I have 2 room separate with a brickwall.
1 for Control Room and the other for Live/Drum Booth.
How to built Isolation Wall between them?
I attach my idea here, is it correct for better max TL or STC?
I really confuse, because it doesn't look like MAM, but MAMAM...How's that?
This picture for quick reference only, not to scale.
I Should draw the floor construction too, but I'm not too good with any drawing soft :(
The bottom of Gypsum should be filled with rubber/insulation and caulked with sealant.
Thanks alot
Is this correct for better/max soundproof?

im no acoustician but id use the brick wall side for the drum booth (plastered finish) and build a timber fram around the inside of your control room. have you got a plan layout?
Yes it is MAMAM. Have a look at fig 5 in IR 586 and see how the TL at 80-100 Hz drops with a triple leaf. If you want the best isolation with the materials you have shown, use 4 layers of drywall on one side. The limiting factor will become the window (assumed). The idea of having the bare brick wall is good. It will also give some high frequency diffusion.

Use a double wall.
Andre and all, thanks for the input. The brickwall is already finish (plastered) both side, and it's in structural of building. In other words, It's part of existing building to separate 2 bedrooms. It also conected to other walls. I'll attach the layout soon...The sketchup is very good, I have to learn fast. So To remove the brickwall will be very time consuming and costly. 4 layers gypsum on one side? which side is the best? is 12,5mm thickness enough? (enough = Loud Drummer playing in this room without neighbour's complaints  ) Should I built 3 leaf window too? is there any 3 leaf window? ThanksYes it is MAMAM. It is difficult to give specific information when things like wall is already plastered pop up out of nowhere. What other surprises are there?
Make it a double leaf wall. Use the brick wall as one of the leafs.
Make a double leaf window.
Andre
Hello all,
This is my wall looks like....
No. They don't just pop up anywhere....
It's the existing (part) of my house...It's supposed to be me & mywife bedroom and the other (smaller) is my daughter's bedroom.
If I make the brickwall as 2nd leaf/other leaf, so it will "touch" with the rest of my house, right? so far I understand as not acoustician, will it be come leakage "path" for the sound?
In the drawing in your first post, you show two drywall leafs added to the brick wall. Build only one. AndreIf I make the brickwall as 2nd leaf/other leaf, so it will "touch" with the rest of my house, right? so far I understand as not acoustician, will it be come leakage "path" for the sound?
The best way to maintain a MAM envelope between your two rooms will have to involve you using your existing brick wall as one of the leafs, not a sandwiched layer b/w two separate partition walls as shown in your first drawing. This will include a bridge for sound to travel but it can be reduced by adding mass. If you build two new partition walls on both sides of the brick wall then you will have 3 leafs.
It will be better to have two leafs even though one of the leafs (brick wall) will be coupled with existing construction.
Thanks alot guys, I try to understand it.
I attahced picture. Is this what you guys mean?
You can see, the room/Partition brickwall is conected to the outside wall.
