Hi, I have a small room for home-recording. You see the room on the enclosed plan. Information about the room: - It is pretty outside. No Neighborhood. :-) - The grey surfaces are desks where you can lay things and work on. - the green surfaces are shelves. - Shelf on the left side is for the amplifier and for the patchfield (Patchbay). This shelf hangs on the wall. - The shelves on the other (right) side of the room are the für cartons and books. These are 2,6m high. All the desks and shelves are made of the same beaverboard ("pressed wood"). The height of the room is 2,60m. I am planning the following: - Bass Traps (bass diffusors) behind the near-field monitors (from rockwool???) - 50mm foam against "first reflections" (at mid and high frequencies) I would put the foam onto the following places: - 1m2 behind and beside each monitor (4 m2) - 1m2 above each monitor on the ceiling (2 m2) several other solutions to achieve a better room-acoustic: - curtain for both windows (I have actually "jalousie" on them!) - carpet for the floor (made of cotton, not syntetic), I have now parquet (syntetical laminat) on it. I have a budget of max. € 400,- Location: Elsass, France. My question: Do you think that my solution would be optimal (for this room from this budget!) to get rid of the bass- and hall-problems. I would generally like to have a better and transparenter panorama-"room". Thank you very much for your help. With kind regards, Istvan

:-) Which point did not you understand? One failure: the dimensions are of course in "cm" not in "mm". Regards, I.
right...your picture is where?
I do not understand your question. The plan is enclosed ... ! See "studio.jpg"! Regards, I.
Your picture is very dark. Almost unreadable.
I have yet to locate a link to the picture.
