Has anyone heard of a product used for building and sound isolation called DERBY GUM? If so, what exactly is it and what other names can it be called?
might email GG company for distributer in SA. Else get it from RPG in the UK link to that stuff you mentioned?
Hey Ro, i cant find Derby gum anywhere on the net, its a product that an acoustician here in sa told me to look into for sealing tiled roofs. He says that they ised it before in a building to improve sound isolation and after they used it, you could see the cars on the highway driving past but couldnt hear them at all. Too good to be true, perhaps?
I couldn't say. Haven't seen it or read them specs. no info means don't use it. sorry.
It's derbIgum, a manufacturer of roof sealing products, located here in Belgium, check www.derbigum.com for contact references
