hi folks, while i am building my own studio, i am doing some location-recording jobs. for one job i'll have to record an indie rock band in a local music school. the room they offered me is not treated at all or badly treated (grey foam) see pics. i only have acces to the room the day before the session so i have no idea of how bad things are gonna be. what can i do to be prepared? bring shitloads of fibreglass still in its packing to put in the corners? bring sheets of wood to cover up some foam? i only have this room for one week so nothing can get teared down or done permanentely... any ideas?

Bring shitloads of wool and place the whole packages (unwrapped) in them corners.. eazy peazy.
you mean leave them in the plastic right?
Yup - That's what he means, trust me! You can then chuck 'em back in a truck and take them wherever. When I first got my 36 bags stored at my place before the build really started, it was almost like walking into a black hole! All the trapping you could wish for, and instantly positionable in any part of the room. Regards and good luck dude, Lou. 8)
yeah, the plastic wrapping keeps the room from being too dead in the high frq range. It's supposed to be a BASS trap right? No worries, just leave'm unpacked. Like Lou said; you wanna keep'm portable if it's just temp.
