Hello,
Been lurking around for few weeks, reading and learning alot about design and construction.
Recently I have redesigned my small room which serves mainly for production\mixing of elec. music.
I also record vocals and acoustic guitar at the back side of the room.
I monitor using the Maudio Bx8 which produce the range of about 40-18000 hertz,I plan on upgrade these in about 6months from now.

*note that the 150mm front wall panel will not be mounted as shown but will be mounted at the wall-ceiling joint therefor creating an air space.
Material used:
Rigid rockwool panels , density of 80kg\cubic Meter
Any advice is welcomed.
Thank you,
Tomer.

For good results you need more bass traps. Lots more.

Wow Ethan...
And I thought I was pretty much covered with the corners and thick cloud panel.
I really don't want to over crowd the room,
retaining a somewhat spacious feel...
So,any placement is good placement for a bass trap?
I have some room for a 6`,4-6` air gap space for a panel under the Screen
(and behind my desk which does not appear in the drawings since i'm constructing a new one and not made up my mind about the measurements yet...
Maybe its a good idea to treat with this original plan,
Do some measurements and maybe built a sealed (tuned) slat resonator if major peaks or dips occur?
Will a sealed design function as planed no matter where it is placed in a room?
The corner traps are way to small. Best practice is to cover the whole corner. (in other words; adding more basstrap as Ethan suggested) ;)
The pictures are not to scale in this case,
about 70-80% of the corners are covered.
I guess only way to know if its "enough" is to build the panels and messure the room...
Thanks anyhow...
